Having a dentist take special impressions will create a guard to best fit your mouth — teeth and adjacent gums — so as to provide the best protection when you are playing “contact” sports. The procedure is very simple; your dentist takes impressions of your teeth, both upper and lower.

The plaster models of your teeth are then sent to the dental laboratory where a technician makes the custom made mouthguard to fit adult mouth or growing mouth with erupting teeth.  You can choose your color and identification label and type of mouthguard.
